It was looking grim for a minute, but VIX has reverted to a bearish alignment (bullish for stocks…

…and USDJPY is spiking…

…ahead of not just OPEX but a Fed meeting and slew of economic data next week.

The equity picture:

SPX still offers a clean upside channel to its .886 as long as it can hold 4534.

And if VIX can continue to slip lower after testing its SMA10 and 20.

Nothing really new with currencies. EURUSD is still reversing as USDJPY slips higher. Note that DXY is backtesting its former support. Nothing much new for CL or RB, with both hanging on to recent highs.
