Per a phone call with CNBC’s Eoman Javers re negotiations with Iran, Trump stated: “I don’t care if they’re over, honestly…I really don’t care. I couldn’t care less” adding that he thought the protracted negotiations “started to get very boring.”
Iranian state news outlet Tasnim reported earlier Monday that Tehran was halting negotiations and clamping down on the Hormuz Strait due to continuing Israeli military operations in Lebanon. Trump said he was “going to ask [Netanyahu] what’s going on with Lebanon.” There’s probably no need, as we now have real estate developer Bill Pulte in charge of our national intelligence apparatus.
And, why should Trump care about Iran? Whatever market manipulation is being done is working reasonably well. Even after the fighting has resumed and the Strait remains closed, oil and gas prices are still well off their highs…
…and, the stock market is only slightly off its all-time highs.
stay tuned…
