Stocks have done nothing but melt up since we identified the Inverted Head & Shoulders buy signal back on Dec 11 at SPX 4604. Now, 15.3% later, stocks face another important test.

Although ES continues to hint at a breakout…
…SPX is pushing up against an important Fib level that would normally provide stiff resistance.
It’s the type of situation that might involve VIX breaking down to new lows…
…and/or EURUSD breaking out.
USDJPY continues to counteract the EURUSD to keep DXY in the sweet spot of low enough to encourage equity strength without contributing to higher inflation.
CL and RB remain in a prime position to break down if/when needed.
The net effect is that the 10Y has broken down and, from a charting standpoint, really supports the notion of lower inflation and rising stock prices.
I will be posting 2-3 times per week throughout the month of June. With all the health issues I faced over the past year, I am taking the opportunity to walk the 500-mile Camino de Santiago to benefit a charity that’s near and dear to my heart.
Dr. Kim Rhoads, who my wife knew professionally, founded Umoja Health to offer health services and education to those who don’t have access to great insurance or doctors. Kim got me into the top gastro surgeon at Stanford within 2 days of our initial conversation.
Her intervention and the amazing care Stanford has provided has given me a fighting chance against rectal cancer, a very deadly disease when it spreads as mine did. Many people in our country don’t have this kind of assistance, and such a diagnosis is an automatic death sentence.

I will be averaging about 15 miles per day for around 35 days, and some locations will no doubt have spotty or non-existent wifi. Hence, 2-3 posts per week – usually Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday, but we’ll see.
And, though I’ve said it before, please get that colonoscopy you’ve been putting off. It’s relatively painless, and a total walk in the park compared to what you have to go through if you develop cancer.
