Futures are up slightly following yesterday’s selloff algofest which celebrated increased risk of nuclear weapons being used in Europe.

I’ll be really surprised if stocks don’t at least test the SMA50. And, I’d put at least a 50/50 chance of a backtest of the SMA200 in late December or early January. Thirty-odd years ago, my knee doctor asked me how my hips felt. I replied that they were just fine (despite 20+ years of basketball, climbing and long distance running.) He was puzzled, as the x-rays showed I was bone on bone in each hip.

Alas, Father Time has caught up with me and is none too happy that I started hiking and running again. My hips have gotten to the point where I can no longer abuse them as I’m used to. So, next week I’m going to replace one of them. If all goes well, I’ll replace the other one shortly thereafter.

Bottom line, no posts from Tuesday-Friday. I should get a chance to post Monday, but it depends on when everything goes down.
